Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18% of the population every year. Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet only 36% of those suffering receive treatment. The goal of the project is to make a booklet about a social issue. I want to educate people about anxiety disorders. I used blocks and partially hidden letters in the title to represent the life of a person who has an anxiety disorder. I modified images of people to look like a TV with bad reception, representing their disconnect with life and other people. The color overlays convey the message that anxiety can be overcome.
